A one year old baby named Akash of India has a rare disease
called "precocious puberty", which makes him have a private
adult-sized part and facial hair and body hair. His mother said that he had
grown abnormally since he was 6 months old. Earlier she thought she was a big
baby, but later they realized that it could not be normal. Its private parts
had grown to the size of a 25-year-old man.
When they were taken to the doctors the doctor Rustogi said
that it is caused due to the brain tumor and stomach, but they did not find
anything like so in the reports of blood. It usually increases complications
and leads to cancer.
The pediatrician at Max Super Specialty Hospital added that
precocious puberty is deeply troubling for a child his age and also makes them
violent. His muscular strength increased very fast and could not be controlled
by his parents. They will also stop growing after a few years and will remain
about 3-4 feet tall.
He was now given monthly doses to block the formation of
these hormones.
