Walking is one of the first exercises we learned. It is impossible to calculate the number of steps we have walked in our lifetime. As we get older, we tend to sit more. If we were to pay close attention to this simple safe exercise we may do more of it. Depending on how often you walk, you may be able to shed one pound or more a week. Doing the math, that could equal 20 pounds in five months, without dieting or going to a gym.

And those pounds fall away, you will be toning your muscles. Also, as you incorporate this routine into your lifestyle, your overall health will improve. Before long, you'll be hooked.
