Each of us has gone to wear a blouse or put a lipstick with a certain color and shine like a star, while a slightly different tone of the same color can create a tired and faded appearance. This is so because the first one perfectly matches the tone and tone of the skin, while the second is not enough.

What does this mean? Many people do not realize the difference between the basic tone of the skin and its tone. The basic tone of the skin is what we describe as tan, shiny, matte, dark tan. Their tone is the color of the deeper layers of the skin. Therefore, two people of the same complexion may be radically different because they have different skin tones.

The secondary color is divided into three types:

 Cold: pink and red tone

Hot, yellow, peach, golden

Neutral: a mixture of both.

When it comes to fashion and cosmetics the two shades are essential to determine the right color clothing or make-up. It is often mentioned that the correct type definition is the key to our overall appearance. Determining, however, what type we belong to, is still not an easy task.

Here are some tips on how to determine if your skin is hot or cold type.

 What do the veins say?
Look at the veins inside the wrist. What color are they: blue or green? If they look blue, you're more likely to be cold. If they look greenish then you are a warm tone. The veins of the "hot" girls look green because their tone is yellow. And yellow + blue = green.

 The trick with the jewels:
Pay attention to the jewelry that suits you. Not the ones you like to wear, but the ones that really look good on you and make you shine. Are they gold or silver? Cold-toned girls look better with silver jewelry. Those with warm tone - with gold.

 The neutral test:
Think about neutral colors that suit you. If your eyes, hair and skin shine when you're dressed in bright white or black, or the beige-brown range is your neutral friend? The first choice defines the cold tone, the second - the warm.

The color of the eyes and hair also speaks:
The natural color of your hair and your eyes can also help determine the low tone. Usually, "cold" people have gray, blue or green eyes, and their hair is blond, brown or black with gray, blue, violet or ashy tones. For its part "hot people" have brown eyes, amber or hazel color, while there are blonde, red, brown or black hair with shades of gold, red, orange or purple.

 The effect of the sun:
How does your skin react to the sun? Do you get a golden tan or get pink (even burns) and then turn black? If the former applies to you, then you are hot type. If you recognize yourself in the second - you're cold.

 Star similarities:
Think of a celebrity who has the same skin as yours. Some of the cool type stars are: Jan Jones, Scarlett Johansson, Anne Hathaway, Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz, Cara Delevingne. The "hot" celebrities are: Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Rachel Bilson, Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce.

 Discover your color:

Once we determine what type we belong to, it is time to define and the colors that suit us. Women who belong to the hot type, should address yellow, orange, brown, yellow-green, red tones. Representatives of the cold type will look better in blue, green, pink, violet, blue-green, cyclamen.
